Panel Types
Map Panel
Interactive geographic visualisations showing spatial data.
Navigation:
Pan: Click and drag to move the map
Zoom: Use scroll wheel
Rotate/Tilt: Hold Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) while dragging
Layer Controls:
Layers are organised into groups
Click the eye icon next to a layer or group name to show/hide it
Double click the eye icon on a layer or group to "focus" on that layer / group, switching off other layers / groups
Group toggles affect all layers within that group
Interacting with Features:
Click on map features (lines, points, areas) to select them
Clicking a feature may update a parameter, filtering other panels
Labels display attribute values when configured
Legend:
The legend shows colour scales and categories
Colour scales indicate what data values the colours represent
Chart Panel
Displays data as bar charts, line charts, or scatter plots.
Viewing Options:
Click the panel menu (three dots icon) to access options
Chart/Table toggle: Switch between chart view and tabular data view
Legend toggle: Show or hide the chart legend
Interactions:
Hover: Move your cursor over data points to see values
Click: Click on data points to select values and update parameters
Hovering on one chart may highlight corresponding data in other panels
Markdown Panel
Displays formatted text content such as:
Instructions and documentation
Data descriptions and methodology notes
Dynamic text that updates based on parameter selections
This panel type is read-only and provides information context for your analysis.
Turn Diagram Panel
Specialised visualisation for intersection turn movements.
Shows directional flow volumes (or other attributes) through an intersection
Toggle between chart and table view
Download as SVG or image for presentations or reports
Select different scenarios from the dropdown
Image Panel
Images linked to geographic features:
Shows an image based on input parameters
Useful for site photos or intersection layouts
Query Panel
An SQL editor for advanced data exploration (may not be available in all dashboards).
Features:
Write and execute SQL queries against loaded data
View table schemas in the sidebar
Results displayed in a paginated table
Export results as CSV
Usage:
Type your SQL query in the editor
Click Run or press Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on Mac)
View results in the table below
Use Download CSV to export results
